Can the nonprofit have oversight over the event I’m hosting?

Yes. The volunteer who creates the third-party event is automatically set as an organizer for the event and can then add the nonprofit staff person(s) as a fellow organizer so they can have full oversight of the event’s tickets sales, donations, vendor payments, etc.

Or, if the nonprofit staff member prefers to do so, he/she can initiate the set-up of the event in myRollCall. Upon being asked whether the fundraising event is a staff-led or volunteer-led event, the staff member can click “Volunteer” and then make the volunteer an “Organizer” under the “Roles” tab.
